What the DONe team keeps about you, why, and for how long.
Purpose and current stage
The DONe team collects registrations of interest from abdominal wall surgeons. You may request consideration for the current Delphi panel, choose future research contact, or both. Panel requests are reviewed using the current DONe eligibility criteria. Registration does not enrol you in any study. Each study invitation will include separate participant information and consent.

What is stored
Your name, email, institution, country, practice approaches, selected interests, optional professional profile and message, and the date and version of your contact consent. For eTEP surgeons requesting current panel consideration, we also collect operative experience, evidence of expertise and availability. We record any separate consent to future research contact and its expiry date. Committee members record screening reasons and their review decision. Do not submit patient information.
Who has access
Applications are stored on the study server and are accessible through a password-protected review area to authorised study personnel. They are not shown to other applicants or published. Application details are not sent to advertising or analytics services.
Consent and retention
We use your registration details to handle the interests you selected. If you request current Delphi panel consideration and do not opt in to future research contact, details of applicants who are not invited will be deleted when registration closes. Any further retention or use for an actual study will be explained separately before participation.
Future research contact requires a separate, optional choice. If you opt in, the DONe team may contact you about abdominal wall surgery studies and collaboration opportunities, whether or not you are invited to the current Delphi panel. Your registration details will be kept for up to 24 months from registration for this purpose, or until you withdraw that consent, whichever is earlier. This choice does not affect selection for the current panel.
Previous registrations are not automatically opted in to future contact. A new submission does not change an existing record or expand its consent; contact the team to update your preferences.
Correction and withdrawal
Email the team to obtain a copy of, correct or delete your registration. Please use the address used in the application so the team can check the request. A repeated form submission does not replace the existing application. You may withdraw future research contact consent separately or ask to delete your registration entirely. Withdrawing contact consent does not require joining a study.
Technical information
The site uses no advertising cookies or analytics. Temporary request information supports abuse prevention. Access to the review area requires authentication. The application does not intentionally log form contents.
